I don't know where he got the "until recently". I'm glad that my FX wasn't
made in Singapore. If I wanted a Chinese TLR, I have other choices. :-)

Dear All,

Sorry if it's a bit late to join the discussion. As far as I know they are
still made at the factory by Franke & Heidecke GmbH in Braunschweig.

Dietmar Kanzer emailed me the Franke & Heidecke PDF brochure files for the
Rolleiflex 4.0FT (Tele), Rolleiflex 4.0FW (Wide),Rolleiflex 2.8FX,
Rolleivision Dual_GB and Rolleivision MSC315.

If anybody would like me to send them a set, please contact me directly.

John

Jefferey, the TLRs still are manufactured in Braunschweig, Niedersachsen
(Lower Saxony) Germany, at the historical Rollei factory by F&H GmbH.
They manufacture the Rolleiflex FX and the Rolleiwide FW and a new Tele
Rollei prototype was introduced in the last PMA 2006. Robert White in
England is the new official F&H Rollei F&H distributor, they have the newest
products like a new double fileters adapter for the TLR, youcan see the
current F&H production for the TLR here:
http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/rollei.htm

And you can see the Tele prototype here (it's necessary to scroll the page
to see the photograph and
caption):

Seagull in China also are manufacturing cheap TLRs

All the best
Carlos
