I spoke to Harry and my bad luck he doesn't work on SL35-E but gave me a
different
number of Rollei Services (973-244-9662) and I called them up and they also
told me
its too risky and they would rather not work on it (as they put it).
Any of you by any chance know anyone who would work on a SL35-E?

I have never had a problem with a Rolleiflex
lightmeter and the only ones reputed to be
troublesome are those in the Rollei 35 line. The
lightmeter in my SL35E is quite accurate, almost
as accurate as those in my 2.8GX and in my Leica M6.
Harry Fleenor, to the south of you near LA, is
one of the finest Rolleiflex repair guys in the
world. Marflex in New Jersey also ranks quite
high. There are others, but that would be where
I would look first. Harry is a regular member of
this List and Marflex occasionally monitors and has, on occasion,
participated.
