Jerry,
You are technically correct, but Rollei sold the Penta B as an
occular for Eyeglass wearers when using the pentaprism. Rollei also
sold diopters for the pentaprism in +3 to -3 strengths.
When you use yours, you are, in fact using it correctly because if
you look beyond the top of your prism, you'll see the correct view
that is imaged in the prism as seen by the Finder lens.
