Way back there was a contact printing paper called Velox. I used it in
the mid-1950s through, I think, mid-60s, mostly for proofing or contact
printing from large negatives. What you describe seems to be something
else entirely. Kodak recycles some of its brand names into different
product lines, it would seem.

I consider colorizing classic motion pictures to be blasphemy, and this sounds like the same sort of venture. However, since I do watercolor painting, this might warrant some experimentation.
