Industrial tooling holds quite a value as it contains a lot of metals of
high value, if nothing else. The tooling for the Rolleiflex F models was
lost in the 1980 bankruptcy but, for some reason, the tooling for the T was
retained and passed to the new owner (then Mandermann), and this became the
basis for the 2.8GX and the current FX. And that is why the GX lacks the
automatic film-loading feature which so identified the top-of-the-line
Rolleiflex TLR's from the original Automat through the end of the F's.
