The T, a cheapened version of the F, was the last Rolleiflex standing when the company went bankrupt and was the only tooling left, which is why the GX was built on the T mechanicals. In particular the film transport for the T is a cheaper design than the F. If you speak to someone who is a factory-trained Rolleiflex repairman they can give the whole detail.
