It looks like an Epson scanning software "bug", the default set is "thumbnail" 
preview, it would work right for most cases, if you can't scan MF film, then 
you need to change to "Normal" preview, sometimes it works, sometimes you need 
to re-install the software and to change the preview default set, this is the
