[rollei_list] Re: Scanning 120 film

Frederic,

I recently opted to scan and print digitaly. I shoot 35 mm, 6x6 cm and 4x5 inch and found the flat bed Epson V750 PRO scanner fit the need for all of these formats. It cost me less than $800 and is certainly cheaper than a dedicated medium format film processor from Nikon. So far I am very happy with the results and I might add that the V750, aside from giving you the ability to scan B/W 'wet', it comes with some nice upgraded software for calibrating your system. I also purchased an Epson Photo R2400 printer for about $700 - I would say I am getting professional quality from this equipment and its in your dollar range.

Dear friends,

I am looking for information on scanning 120 negative film, colour and
black/white.

Plan is to shoot portraits with the rolleiflex sl66E and next to developing in the dark room, also do some scanning on a good scanner. Would Epson be
good?

I really need good professional qualitu, but the price cannot be more than
1500 dollars.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
