I have followed various discussions (arguments ;-)) about what parts

so I ask:

Does anybody have copies of any working drawings/blueprints which would
show the component dimensions and gear sizes for the Rolleimarin 1
geared coupling device (also focus knob coupling)?

I have a copy of the repair manual but this is not really suitable. My
RM1 came without a coupling device and I would like to complete the kit
either by machining the components or in the unlikely event that someone
has one in their oddments box, by acquisition.

I hope that repair shop Todd referred to has the parts you need. I can tell you that my Rolleimarin III has different spacing for several elements, and the turret assembly is indeed a complex piece of mechanism. I also think that with the version III they changed the setup (at least the diameter) for the focus knob clamp, etc.

I do know that last year the shop had, for some reason, started collecting those housings and had 3-4 on hand, not sure why.

You probably know the details of the turret but if not go to my section of the Rollei Gallery for a quick peak.

Also, the service manual I have has listings of camera serial numbers the various housings fit. Somewhere along the way the design was adapted to mate with removable hood cameras.

I can also tell you, by experience, that I have seen several Rolleimarin housings on the market without the turret assembly, apparently because the previous owner didn't know it was part of the housing and not part of the camera.

Most of those came from former oil-company divers who got the housings when they were replaced by 35mm systems. Divers are not very camera-specific individuals.
