I agree about the CZJ lenses. I have the 50, 80, 120, 180 and 300. All but the 80 are MC versions. But even with the MC these lenses have lower contrast than more modern lenses. That's not necessarily bad, particularly when shooting high contrast scenes on chrome film.

I agree about the Arsat. Great hunk of glass. I have most of the other Russian/Ukrainian lenses in this mount. They vary considerably in quality. The 150/2.8 Mir is actually too contrasty for my tastes, being very harsh in its rendition. I put a soft focus "filter" on it when I use it on people.
