Marvin,

You are being disingenous. I said that the idea was still around - i.
e. politicians still have the idea of influencing who has babies and
who has not, and want to use state power to achieve that. Those who do
not follow the states advice will be sanctioned. Read the articles I
posted.

By the way, it is all academic over here as he will be gone soon.

Antonio

Hello Antonio,
If you want to continue with this discussion, I am happy to do so, but
I
think it is fair to take it off the list.
You cannot supply evidence to support your claim because there is
none. As I
have mentioned previously, you conclusion is based on an invalid
inference
from the basic statement that Blair made(that inference also goes for
anyone
else who wants to support the claim that Blair is an advocate of
genetic
determinism based on Eugenics)from the BBC interview.
He did NOT say that we should forcibly sterilize people; you are
saying that
he inferred this from his statement; I am saying that I don't believe
that
to be the case. I am also saying that insisting that someone means
something
else, even though they said something different, may support your case
but
in the end it is Fascism.
If you believe there is no God, I suppose you are committed to
metaphysical
naturalism, but again the Rollei list is not the forum to discuss such
matters.

Regards,
Marvin.

I supplied evidence to support my claim that such ideas where still
current amongst politicians, and that Tony Blair put recently
floated
them. Stopping people having children based on ethnicity or any
other
discriminatory factor is completely out of order in my book, be it
exposed by the Nazis or Tony Blair.

There is no God.

Antonio
