The Carl Zeiss Foundation bought a 100% ownership interest in Voigtländer from Schering in 1953. In 1965, the Foundation, which then owned around 80% of Zeiss Ikon, merged Voigtländer with Zeiss Ikon to form ZIV. That was dissolved when Zeiss Ikon left the camera manufacturing business and the remnants of Voigtländer were sold to F&H. Most of the Voigtländer lens designers had been absorbed into Oberkochen in 1965, incidentally.
