Sorry, everyone, I think, I just accidentally sent the whole digest to everybody...mea culpa! 

What I wanted to ask is this:
How do you tell if Rodinal has gone bad. I just opened a 125mm bottle I purchased 6 months ago and the stuff seems rather dark brown with some brown residue at the top of the bottle. Is this normal? Can I still use it?

This is pretty typical of Rodinal. From all reports it continues to work fine despite looking like cough syrup.
