Absolutely.

A close friend of mine was trained by his dad to be an Exakta repairman. 
His pieces are incredible -- but as no one is stepping up to help him,
he's getting burned out.  Is it that Americans are not often "fulfilled"
by a career spent at a table with small tools...?
