[rollei_list] Re: Re; Rolleicord 2 Shutter

Neil, you are confirming my last message about this topic, the Compur Rapid has
a different place for the cable release regarding the original shutter for the
Rolleicord II and it's the reason it does not coincide with the socket for the
cable release in your Rolleicord II lens panel;
I had suggested a new hole-socket in the lens panel coinciding with the Compur
Rapid cable release place and then you could access the Compur Rapid cable
release from this new socket, it seems you wish to change the Compur Rapid
configuration to use the original cable release socket in your camera, I don't
know if the change could be done easily and cheaply,there are several rings
around and behind the shutter with different functions and some different
catalog numbers about 'cord II and III; I insist that a good technician could
suggest you the best way to use the no original (for your camera) Compur Rapid
cable release.
