There is a cable release socket on the Compur Rapid of course.
You can see where the cable release ought to be here:

On this Compur Rapid the cable release hole is immediately to the right
of the shutter cocking lever. You can just see it through the slit.
Is it going to be possible for a tech guy to loosen the locking ring
that holds the Compur into the front panel and rotate it the necessary
amount to bring the cable release socket into line with the cut in the
front panel provided ?
I wondered how the indicators for the shutter and aperture work. Can the
shutter be rotated and the indicators still show the correct speed?
I have not seen a picture of a Rollecord partially stripped to have any
idea of what it would look like under that figure of 8 cover over
shutter & viewing lens. How can you unscrew the filter mounts on both
lenses as they seem to be holding that cover on?.
Would a 'Cord with the Compur rapid as standard have a slightly
different cover with the various slits for the levers in different p-laces?
