Hi David
Would it perhaps be a combination of a small, low noise petrol generator, a
quick charger and a 12 v battery. - Perhaps if you stated how much energi
you need to run your (life supporting ??) devises it would be easier for the
people on the list to figure out the right gear.

Hi Rueben, the machine for respiration while sleeping is 110 volts at 1.7
amps for eight hours. The machine for squeezing liquids is 110 volts at 1.5
amps
for four hours.
<<With the charger/battery you can avoid using the generator all the time and
you will have power for the night to. I gues with the kind of support you
need you will not be going on your own alone ???
>>
No, these would be solo trips.
<<
so will there be someone to help you carry the gear ??>>
No, I would have to do it.
<< and will you be able to get help - medical helicopter ??? if the gear
brakes down
anyway good luck - you have a great attitude towards not letting your
condition getting in the way of your dreams

Doing without the equipment wouldn't kill me off straigthaway, Ruben.
Controlling the sleep apnea helps prevent heart problems. Squeezing out the
fluids
relieves internal fluid pressure which causes the skin to break down and might
in time I suppose lead to gangrene. I would take a radio beacon to call for
aid if I got into really serious trouble. I suppose I should check my medical
insurance to see if a helicopter would be covered. No heroics for me, thank
you.
