Robert,
The earlier panorama head is only better by itself to get the "nodal
point" rotation right, if I remember that correctly. The second
version neds to be used in conjunction with the Rolleikin quick
release shoe then it works perfectly. I have the latter combination
for my 3.5E and it works very nicely!
