Marc: I sent you the numbers and you wrote significant info on the camera, you confirmed me it's from 1937 if my memory serves me good and we commented about Zeiss Ikon used the word "Germany" for the camera according the market language, it's the reason my camera came with the word "Alemania" engraved on the upper part of the back, a few days ago I saw another Contax II with the word "Alemania" in our local eBay, this marketing decision to use different languages looks like the Rolleiflex "Tropical" someway. BTW I am verifying Eddie Smolov did a great work on this camera, it did not return as new aesthetically, but every part and lens are clean and lubricated working fine, the telemeter is very exact My lens is f11 Marc, you can compensate the lack of f16 and even f22 using rapid film thanks to 1/1250sec shutter speed (in fact I take this speed as 1/1000). Anyway I send you the numbers again: Sonnar 1.,5/50 Carl Zeiss Jena Nr 2188792, body B.33268.
