[rollei_list] Re: OT: Tessar 2.8/45 "Pancake" for Contax/Yashica

Yes Nick, thanks, that is an excellent lens, however
this Tessar is so slim...when you have some cameras
with lenses 100% normal, a normal with rare shape like
this Tessar is attractive, at least to me; but I'm
afraid I'll finally buy a super normal Planar...
I know about the computers and software for lens
design, but anyway it's a bit surprising to me the way
they can make a normal 45mm lens having excellent
general performance so slim. The Xenar in my
Rolleicord IV look slim if you perceive in your mind
the first and last element, but it is a built-in
lens.-
