[rollei_list] Re: OT: Slide Film and E6, now digital

I'm not a big fan of digital but having a large cache of AF Nikkors made
buying a used Fujifilm S1 D-SLR seem a no-brainer.
Anyone contemplating the purchase of a digital SLR body should keep in mind
that the sensor collects dust and has to be kept clean which is a big hassle.
Other, newer camera brands such as Pentax/Samsung address the dirty sensor
issue but I'm stuck with my Nikkors for probably the rest of my photographic
life.

Spent is the right word. Despite the cost of film and processing, and the
delayed workflow, the cost of getting into a digital system is quite high, and
doesn't end at the camera.
