Subject: [rollei_list] OT Seal Dry Mount Press

Does anyone know if Seal is still making dry mounting presses and if parts/manuals are still available for the older ones?

Seal presses are made by two companies. One is Light Impressions at:
http://www.lightimpressionsdirect.com The presses are at:
http://www.lightimpressionsdirect.com/category.action?categoryId=136

Hold on to something when looking at the prices.

The other source is Beinfang at:
http://www.forframersonly.com/
On the home page click on Products then on Equipment. The last will open a pull-down menu with the presses listed.

Both companies have parts and supplies. Bienfang probably comes closer to providing the old Seal line of mounting and release tissues and accessories like tacking irons.

I don't know what connection Bienfang currently has with other companies. For a time it was associated with Hunt Chemicals, which, in turn, was associated with Fuji. It appears to be independent at the moment.
