To my mind highest tolerances => Very crudely made.  
Going back many decades => hopelessly old fashioned
Prestigious photographers => dentists and other gifted amateurs

I'm European. I would love to think that we lead the world in precision 
engineering, but I think we are much better at remembering the glory days than 
moving forward, be it wine, cameras or empires.
