I have a relatively nice set of Leitz and Leica gear (IIIc, IIIf RD/ST), IIIg, M3 DS, M6 Wetzlar, plus a bunch of lenses and Viso and macro gear). I have bought and sold and swapped and traded for years. I have no actual money in any of my Leica gear.
And my Leicas are non-electronic. If something goes bad, it can be repaired by a capable repair dude with a small lathe and the like.
