It's actually Naproxin Sodium, better known as Aleve. Plenty of side
effects... some quite nasty.

Mainly it can cause serious ulcers in some people and isn't good for the liver or kidneys. The same for Ibuprofen, which is also a pretty effective non-steroidal anti-inflamatory. Asprin is the oldest of these but is less effective and has more side effects in some people although it is, in general, pretty safe. One can't take any of these and take any steroid at the same time. Because I have arthritis in my spine naproxin is pretty important to me.
