Thanks for the info on the Order of Cincinnatus - I knew it was hard to
join. My grandfather got it wrong - I don't think anyone in my family ever
served on Washington's staff. Back on those days most of the family were

Membership in the Order of Cincinnatus is
restricted to descendants of officers who served
on Washington's staff. It is VERY restrictive as
only one member is permitted on a given line at a
time. A friend is patiently waiting for two
distant cousins to die so he can join.
Now, you DO qualify for membership in the Sons of
the American Revolution. Consider joining: I'm
a member though quite inactive.
