True ... outsourcing, but implications seem that there were costs and the need for "more profit" (perhaps they mean lack of profit) .It seems that digital has taken most of Kodaks allied products out of the mainstream and the $$$ volume just is not what they expected.

Not out of digital at all... just outsourcing. This could be a really
good move IF these people understand product development and life
cycle. Kodak has the brand and the distribution.

It does beg the question of just what Kodak's core business will be...
