Jeff -
No, no need to recalibrate for different lenses.  Dont know personally how well
the Sinar meter works - they were always terribly even ridiculously expensive -
I have always used a handheld light meter and then corrected for bellows
extension if necessary, and for reciprocity law failure for long exposure if
necessary.

Bob, it does indeed have the fresnel lens installed.  Sounds like the Minolta
probe would have to be recalibrated for each lens?  Does that make sense?

Do these Sinar metering wands work well?  It seems like TTL metering would make
life easier especially for macros and such....

The meters where a probe is held against the ground glass are tougher to
calibrate for consistent good exposures because they read through the
additional density of the ground glass.  The Sinar meter's wand is right at the
film plane in front of the ground glass.  Just a matter of calibrating the
meter to take the density of the ground glass into consideration.  Would not
work with a fresnel lens over the ground glass - I believe there was a fresnel
lens on the camera in the picture if that was the same camera.
