You are the one who has been whining about it, Austin, not me. Again, death taxes have not played a part in my own family's situation though, in some cases, this took great estate planning. (One of my cousins was a co-founder of Genentech, for instance.)
My objection to all taxation is fundamental and real. My objection to double taxation is also fundamental and real. And my objection to death taxes is, yet again, fundamental and real. But, in general terms, I have no income, so I pay no income tax. I thus do not suffer double taxation. And, when I die, my son will inherit some cameras and telescopes and enlargers and a few books of more than academic value. But my own circumstances do not bring me to have a visceral distaste for taxation.
With you, on the other hand, the objection to death taxes only arose when your family was slammed hard by them.
