But this Rollei list is a great example of the opposite. We are all here 
because we like Rolleiflex cameras, but our views on everything else is mixed - 
which accounts for most of the rows here. But really since we all come back to 
being gentlemen after someone gets one poked out... it's quite an eye opener - 
a world widener. 


It is very difficult to communicate liberally through this medium though. 
Beside the dropped letter that alters meaning, tone is hard to convey. Much is 
missed without face to face contact. I think that's the real problem, and 
perhaps because fully descriptive sentences are seldom used, let alone full 
sentences.


I've made a lot of friends this way though, and I'm better off for it. I also 
wouldn't have gotten anywhere in my photography without the electronic 
connectivity.


So three cheers for Al Gore!
