All the best and seasons greetings, Larry Cuffe
Hi,I sold a guy in NYC a Plaubel Makina 670. When it arrived, one of the strap lugs was detached from the camera. They are held on with a screw through the body of the camera, and the screw apparently snapped. The good news, is this didn't happen to either me or the buyer while the camera was on thestrap! Anyway, I contacted: Nippon Photo Clinic Service 920 Broadway At East 21st St New York, NY 10001 212-982-3177 who is said to be a Plaubel Makina repair guy...but he wanted $400 to replace the screw. That is of course absurd. Perhaps it was Yen.Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations for someone in NYC who I cancontact and talk about replacing the screw on this camera strap lug?
