Its back. But only for Freshman. A darned shame. Those Freshman
need the upper classman to look up to.
As you recall. They're babies.
But the end of the year they've grown up.
But now alone they don't. I bet.
A friend of mine kids went there just a few years ago.

All I know about is OU and UCLA, none of which do that kind of thing,
but there are lots of other traditions at OU that are interesting
(beyond football), chasing tornados for one.
I am trying to become re-associated with OU and may attend their
formula sae car drive back in California next month.
The 2008 and 2009 cars are here: (be sure to check some of the
sub-headings for details)
http://www.sae.ou.edu/
They build these cars from scratch except for the engine, tires, and
perhaps the differential and of course the bearings. Numerical
mills, power coating, vacuum forming, rotational molding, things I
never saw in school. Shapers are out of style.
Back to the subject at hand. Sometimes I drop by the Student Union
at night for a quick bite before the car club meeting, and the word
"babies" clearly applies to some of them. I guess I was just like
them at one time, just a high school kid out of hand for the first time.
