I must say, if I could come up with a digital back for my 6008i for under the price of a total heart-lung transplant operation, I'd snag that sucker. Sadly, I am shooting so much digital for my "clients" lately that film has sorta become quaint. The digital back would certainly mean that I go back to MF shots (up from 35mm-ish Nikon DSLR stuff). On a technological note - what sort of memory would you use for a MF digi back? A 1Gb CompactFlash card holds 150 of my 6Mb "raw" images. I presume that you'd only get about 20-30 MF images? Would you have a "bank" of CF cards? A small built-in laptop hard drive? I certainly would hate to be tethered to a laptop, the way the old 4x5 digital backs were set up... j, just pondering out loud. --- Jeffrey L.
