[rollei_list] New "old" Rollei 35 - what about the users?

I find this catering to the collectors really annoying. How about a sensibly updated Rollei 35S with a miniaturized coupled rangefinder, and provision for a small digital back...) for the normal mortal? Who needs some tacky Urushi version ?
I even think the nostalgic nameplates on the current FX, FW and FT are out of place. The GX had it right with its slightly modernized script and the cool blue background.
Embarassing to see this trend coming out of the country which originated "timeless" Bauhaus design (form follows function, bla bla...) etc. 
Someone tell the folks at F&H.  So there.

I had commented last January or February F&H will manufacture a new
Rollei 35 during 2007; a limited number of 200 cameras will be
released with Urushi lacquered finish and gold-plated components,100
in green and 100 in red. Both camera models will be given the production numbers 1=96100 
(please don't ask about the price...). There are more news about F&H
