Maybe, however, this was with no film. When I checked the counter mechanism using a dummy spool (a spool with some tape wound up on it and a card between the feeler rollers) the thing wound and counted smoothly. I will probably try it with the bad lens but its bad enough to spoil the contrast. I suspect replacment lens sets are fairly hard to come by.
