[rollei_list] Re: My switch to the SL66

You guys will make me buy another SL66! I bought mine serviced by
Jurgen Kuschnik shortly before he left for Germany; and the more I use
it, the more I love it! One must simply appreciate how great piece of
engineering this camera is. I am truly in love.

I personally find the SL66 quite easy to carry around (at least
compared to a Linhof Technika ;) and well suited for outdoor
photography. The set of 50, 80 and 150 lenses is very compact. Because
I manage to get very good results from quite slow speeds; I almost
never have a tripod with me. On the contrary, walking out without a
tripod prevents me from using the Scheimpflug effect - at least I have
not figured out a way how to shoot acceptable handheld shots with a
tilted front standard.

I like the practicality of the Bay VI bayonet. I wish I could find a
"67mm to Bay IV adapter" to use my Rollei VI filters / shades with my
LF lenses. One of my polarizers began to delaminate, I'm thinking
about converting it to such a reversed adapter.

My SL66 has never turned me down; thank you F&H for this marvelous camera! :)
