Well, the Dwaynes web site says nothing about any extension. Instead, it
says the last roll of Kodachrome was developed on Dec. 30 and they are not
accepting any more.

News reports of the time said they were running out of the chemicals needed,
presumably not the ones mixed from scratch.

The last frame developed was said to be a group picture of Dwaynes
employees.
