Yada yada yada,

thanks for all the suggestions. Really :-).

The problem with all of these (I use Velvia, I love Velvia, but it's not for everything) is that they don't look *real*. They all give an exaggerated sense of what is there, all end up being "larger than life". I don't want a cartoon, larger than life sharpness, overdone colours and all that. I want to see exactly what is there, realistically (with depth, solidity and 3 dimensional quality).

The K stuff does it, but I cannot really explain why. It just suits my way of seeing. But hey, we're already in 2006 and I don't think I know anyone who even uses film anymore, let alone an orphaned emulsion from before the second world war ;-).

Cheers,

Thor

it's a really nice alternative to Velvia when you

want the super-saturated look.

That's why Fuji makes Provia. Non-saturated accurate colors. Even Velvia 100F is less saturated than Velvia 100.
