The few posts I've read never mention Automats... are they just too old,
or not to the standard of the 3.5f and 2.8f?
Many of the early Automats are still in use. I have twelve pre-war Rolleis
that I use from time to time. They are all great picture takers. Of course
the later Rolleis with Xenotar and Planar are optically better, and also the
early post-war cameras with coated Tessar/Xenar/Triotar.
