Peter,

I used Weston meters because I collected them.  I have a Leitz-
Metrastar CdS meter which I use regularly.  For some work, I use
a Pentax Digital Spot meter.  I only have one working Weston left,
a Master I which is right on in both ranges.

The requirements for a battery or not, are of no concern to me.
