Yes, that's why I started this thread.  I've been going through a batch of 
negatives, some old and some newer, using a 6x6 loupe, and I've begun to notice 
a difference.

I think so, too.  My handheld shots have been, by and large, shots of family, 
friends, etc., spur of the moment, and I've been satisfied with them, but 
there's a definite fall-off in sharpness when compared with the tripod shots 
I've done.

No big suprise, I guess.
