In adidition to my many Rolleiflex cameras, I do own a couple of 532/16
Super Ikonta B's, and you speak with straight tongue.

There is no question that cell-focusing produces a sharper image especially
at wider apertures. However, the Tessar on the Super Ikonta was a lens
really designed to make the greatest possible use of the circumstances for
which it was intended, and so the Super Ikonta can produce great results.
But I have conducted tests with a vetted Super Ikonta B and a really good
Automat III and there is no doubt that the cell-focusing Automat Tessar is
capable of better results at f/3.5, though the difference is not of much
merit by f/4 and cannot be seen by f/5.6. Of course, at f/2.8, the Super
Ikonta wins the race ....
