Hi Elias -
I'm just getting my feet wet with flickr image sharing myself... it is
really meant as an adjunct to this group as images can't be shared on
freelists... I was responsible for coordinating the set-up of the
Rollei-Gallery.net and so wanted to give anyone here another free
alternative web space for image sharing.
Several list members who already have pages on flickr have joined the
group and I don't believe there is a bandwidth issue, but perhaps one
of the more experienced users can jump in.
You and all the list members are welcome to send us links to your own
pages, join the group, do both, or use any technology you choose to
share your images and technical information EXCEPT, as per Marc, we do
not allow sending attachments to the list.
Thanks for your compliments to some of the members who are displaying
images there already... I certainly agree there is some really nice
work and that we are off to a good start.

Thanks for the RUG Flikr site Eric. Some beautiful work on there.
Is there a bandwidth issue to be concerned about? Would it be better
for each of us to link our own pages to RUG's page somehow? Or would
it be best to join the group, and upload images to the group site?
I just posted three rolleiflex 2.8C pics (Kodak Portra 160) on my own
page... the three square images (of course):

I'm just getting my feet wet with all this...
Scanned neg film - and so photoshopped (new verb) to resemble the
prints, and/or to my liking.
I'm amazed by how much richer my rollei images are than those from my
canon.
I'm sure the Portra is just better than the Gold, but the lens must
have something to do with it.
