Don,

No, The FP type bulbs were designed to be used with
the FP shutters of the Speed Graphics which had a longer
travel time.  They were NOT designed for modern 35mm
FP shutters which only synchronize at 1/60 t0 1/125 sec.

My old Leica IIIf used FP bulbs at higher speeds with a
CHICO flash.
