When I'm out on a personal project, my camera of choice has always been the SL66 and the 6003. The former for studio, or tripod shots outdoors, the latter handheld for reportage on demonstrations within the economic steerage.

I assumed this was a question on the 35mm line. If it was on the 120
SLR, then oops!!!

this one:

Hello All,
I would like to ask the opinion of the group regarding Rollei SLRs.
What are they like which model optics are the best etc...?
Thanks for your message,
God bless You.
Marvin.

The cameras are as soft as butter when it comes to serious usage.
Now, it's a question of parts.
If you're thinking about their Zeiss lenses, about the only
viable platform for them is the Canon digital SLR line.

If you're of the mind of getting lenses that have an interesting
signature, try a Leicaflex SL with the early lenses. In
particular, some stand-outs are the Elmarit-R 35mm and the
Summilux-R 50mm. The perceived-value squids have yet to ferret
these out, making their current market price low.
