Blew your mother "out of the water", sir? Not what a well brought up child
is expected to do, but perhaps that is the current fashion with those who
use film in their cameras? Please moderate your behaviour in the future
wether your are using a summicron or no micron at all. Regards, John

My mother uses D2s. I've shot alongside her, with Leica R3 and R4 -- and
blown her out of the water every time. Where it counts, on the gallery
wall, it ain't sharp -- not alongside a Summicron. All the advertiser
tripe fails alongside "ask the man who owns one," and looking for
myself, DSLRs may be fast, better than polaroid, or instamatic... but not
better than the R-Leicas....

16 x 24, 20 x 30 or any other size you'd care to name...
No question, there are a lot of great reasons to shoot digital, but
detail under enlargement in a dollar for dollar comparison with
analog
ain't one of them...
