The standard lens-cap sizes for the Zeiss lenses for the Contax and the
Jupiter lenses for the Kievs is either a 40.5 screw-in (S40.5 in Zeiss
paralance, E40.5 in Leicatalk) or a 42mm slip-on (A42 in both Zeisspeak and
Leicatalk).  The 5.6/20 Russar MR-2 takes an unusual wide 40mm screw-in cap
whose thread I misrember at the moment, and the 2/8.5cm or 85mm Sonnar and
the 2/85 Jupiter-9 takes a 49mm screw-in or 52mm slip-on size.

The A42 slip-on hood, incidentally, fits not only the Jupiters and Zeiss
lenses but also the E39 Leica lenses, one of the very few times
intercompatibility between Contax/Kiev and Leica systems and, yes, I am
certain that this was an accident later regretted by both companies..
