I just finished watching 'Reilly, Ace of Spies' (on
DVD; I first saw the series on TV in 1984).  Seeing so
much of Felix Dzerzhinsky towards the end made me
inquire as to why the FED camera was named after him. 
Was he an amateur photographer?  No, apparently not. 
By doing a Google search I found a very interesting
