Printer supplies have higher price points/margins than film. This is a huge
expendable; it is why Kodak decided to re-enter the market with
camera/printer combos rather than stand-alone cameras.

In case you haven't noticed, manufacturers are happy to sell you a printer
for next to nothing... ;-)
