[rollei_list] Re: Digital Advice

Aaron, I'm going to have fix that hitch and say (and I believe this) that anyone who can make a good photograph can draw. Styles and technical draftsmanship will vary greatly, hand-eye-brain coordination will yield varying degrees of perspective distortion, psychological and emotional states may also influence the outcome, but talent won't get in the way. Your fingers will get dirty, and some charcoal dust will eventually find its way onto your lap.

On the other hand: charcoal crayon $1, sheet of 22x30 rag paper from France $4, drawing (archival and unique) priceless, very relaxing.

Excellent analysis, Elias. The one significant hitch I see to this last suggestion is that it requires actual talent on the part of the practitioner. ;-)

Best regards,
Aaron
